This is an interesting and RARE Antique Old West Yuma Arizona Cinnabar Mine Mining Wood Sign, likely dating to the early 1900's. This piece reads: Cinnabar Mine (with an arrow). " Additionally, some writing which was done by the person who found it reads: "Taken in Yuma Desert, Ariz... Approximately 9 1/4 x 34 3/4 inches. Good condition for age and exposure to the elements, with expected paint loss, edge wear and chipping at the corners.

This old mine is now on the Yuma Proving Grounds, which has been absorbed by the United States Army. It would be absolutely impossible to find a sign like this today.
