Rare Early Antique 19TH Century Crusty Old Red Paint CHILD's WINDSOR HIGHCHAIR

  
This is a Rare Antique 19TH Century (maybe 1820's to 1850's) Handmade CHILD's WINDSOR HIGHCHAIR in old. Found in a Barn in Long Island NY. Chair is nice and solid! Underside of single board plank seat is hand planed, indicating an age of perhaps 1850 or before.

Chair is about 36" tall, with a seat height of just under 25", and a seat width of about 12 3/4. Paint is really crusty and alligatored in places, It's nice and smooth at the top of the seat where it was worn smooth over the years. This item is in the category "Antiques\Primitives".
